Attrage Safety
ACTIVE STABILITY CONTROL (ASC)
Automatic braking in tricky situations
On challenging road surfaces or when the vehicle slips due to a sudden manoeuvre, the ASC kicks in: the brakes come on automatically and engine output is reduced to stabilise the vehicle.
HILL START ASSIST (HSA)
Making hill starts really easy
Hill Start Assist makes starting on a steep slope really easy. It holds the brake on for up to two seconds until you press the accelerator. You need never worry about rolling back again.
TYRE PRESSURE MONITORING SYSTEM
Keep your tyres at the correct pressure
It's important to drive with the tyres at the right pressure. With the TPMS system, sensors measure the tyre pressure and temperature and send the data to a control unit. If a tyre is found to be under pressure, a warning light comes on the dash display.
POWER WINDOW
With a built-in safety mechanism
The driver’s side window can be raised or lowered with a single touch and features an anti-trap mechanism for safety.
SRS AIRBAG SYSTEM
Airbags for driver and passengers
The Space Star is equipped with SRS airbag system. The system includes driver and passenger airbags to ensure utmost safety on the go.
RISE (REINFORCED IMPACT SAFETY EVOLUTION) BODY
A cabin with its own armour
The Attrage has our advanced Reinforced Impact Safety Evolution body (RISE). It’s constructed of high strength steel that effectively absorbs and disperses crash energy from all directions, while also significantly reducing overall body weight.
SEATBELTS WITH PRETENSIONERS
Safer seatbelts
Pretensioners on the front seatbelts automatically tighten in the event of a collision, to help restrain the driver and front passenger. (Double pretensioner optional for driver. Single pretensioner optional for front passenger.)
4-WHEEL ABS WITH EBD
Stay in control when braking
The Mitsubishi Attrage has a four-wheel, anti-lock braking system (ABS). This prevents the wheels from locking during emergency braking and helps the driver stay in control, even on slippery roads. Electronic Brake=force Distribution (EBD) adds an extra layer safety by distributing the braking force to all four wheels to further enhance braking performance.

Equipment may vary by market. Please consult your local Mitsubishi Motors dealer/distributor for details.
SRS Airbags: Airbags are part of a Supplemental Restraint System [SRS]. To decrease the risk of injury from a deploying airbag, always wear your seat belt, sit upright in the middle of the seat and do not lean against the door. Always place children 12 and under in the rear seat and use appropriate child restraints. Never place a rear-facing infant restraint in the front seat. Please see the owner’s manual and the instructions provided with your child restraint for additional information.
HSA: Hill Start Assist [HSA] is not a substitute for safe driving. Never rely solely on this function while driving on steep roads. Your vehicle may move backwards if the brake pedal is not sufficiently depressed, or if the road is very steep or slippery. This function is not designed to keep the vehicle stopped in place on uphill slopes for more than 2 seconds. Do not rely on this function to maintain a stopped position as an alternative to depressing the brake pedal. Please see the owner’s manual for additional information.
ASC: Active Stability Control. The control capabilities of ASC are supplemental only. Please drive safely and never rely solely on these functions while driving. Be sure to use the same specified type and size of tyres on all 4 wheels. Do not install any aftermarket limited slip differential on your vehicle. Please see the owner’s manual for additional information.
