Driving the Mirage

Driving the Mirage is exhilarating. Depress the pedals and you'll love how quickly the car responds to your commands. As well as sporty acceleration, the car's agility and stable handling makes weaving in and out of traffic a breeze.

1.2L DOHC 12-VALVE MIVEC ENGINE

Class-leading fuel efficiency

The Mirage has a 1.2 litre, 12-valve inline 3-cylinder with dual overhead camshafts (DOHC) MIVEC Engine. MIVEC stands for Mitsubishi Innovative Valve Timing Electronic Control System. It means you get a responsive performance and impressive fuel economy. So, less stops for petrol, more time travelling.

SMOOTH AERODYNAMIC DESIGN

A shape designed to be fuel efficient

The Mirage's body has been streamlined to slip smoothly through the air. Reduced drag lowers wind noise and CO2 emissions while improving fuel efficiency and high-speed stability.

CLASS-LEADING TURNING CIRCLE

Squeeze into the tightest spots

With an extremely tight turning radius of 4.6 metres (one of the best in class) the Mirage can take on narrow city streets or country lanes. And when it comes to parking, this hatchback can squeeze into spaces other vehicles can't.

CRUISE CONTROL

More relaxed long-distance driving

With Cruise Control, your vehicle’s speed is automatically maintained without you having to keep your foot on the accelerator. This makes longer journeys much more relaxed. To disengage Cruise Control, just press the clutch or brake.

ECO MODE INDICATOR

Become an eco-friendly driver

Whenever you accelerate in a gentle and measured way, the ECO indicator lights up. The more lights you get, the better you're doing. This is to help you develop better driving habits, lower your fuel costs and contribute to a cleaner environment.
