Financing your fleet

This is a form of Business Hire Purchase. It could help you buy your dream car from Mitsubishi Motors whilst spreading the cost. Agree an initial deposit, agreement term and monthly payment and subject to your application being approved, you can just drive it away. After you’ve made all the payments, including interest, the vehicle is all yours. You can choose your vehicle and borrow any amount from £1,500 upwards. You can set payments to suit your budget and repay over 1 to 5 years.

This is a form of Contract Hire. You can choose your vehicle and there are flexible initial rentals (advance rentals from 1-21 months). You can set the payments to suit your budget. When you get to the end of the contract, it's hassle-free: you simply hand the vehicle back and start again, subject to vehicle condition and charge. If you drive less than the agreed annual mileage, this will not alter the monthly rentals. If you exceed the agreed annual mileage, excess mileage will apply. Contract terms are from 2-5 years. You can change the duration and mileage (except during the first or last six months of the contract) and your monthly rental will be amended accordingly. There are good maximum contract mileages: 120,000 for petrol cars; 150,000 for diesel and hybrids; 180,000 for diesel LCVs. There's a minimum contract annual mileage of 5,000 per annum (if you drive less than this, it will not alter the monthly rental). At the end of the contract you must return the vehicle. You will have nothing further to pay provided the vehicle is in good condition and has not exceeded the agreed mileage. If the vehicle does not meet the mileage and condition terms, excess charges may apply. VAT registered business can re-claim a proportion of the VAT element on rental and maintenance.

Lease Purchase is similar to a Personal Contract Purchase (PCP). You can keep your monthly payments lower by deferring a significant proportion of the amount of credit to the final payment at the end of the agreement. This is called a 'balloon payment'. The balloon payment and any deposit are deducted from the price of your vehicle. You make regular payments based on the remaining balance, plus the agreement interest. Ownership is transferred once the final balloon payment is made. You do not have the option to return the vehicle to Shogun Finance Ltd at the end of the agreement. You can choose your vehicle and borrow any amount from £1,500 upwards. You can set payments to suit your budget and repay over 2 to 4 years. There are flexible deposit options – 0% deposit may be available subject to status. At the end of the agreement, you can part exchange your vehicle for a new one via your Mitsubishi Motors dealership, subject to settlement of your existing finance agreement. New finance agreements are subject to status. Lease Purchase is often used by customers and limited companies who don't want to be bound by mileage restrictions.
