Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution Vll

The hugely successful Lancer received a full makeover, based on the Lancer Cedia. The result was the stunning Evolution VII. It had a longer wheelbase, wider track and larger wheels. It also had an improved turbocharger, an uprated intercooler, a magnesium rocker cover, hollow camshaft and stainless steel exhaust. And if that wasn't enough, it boasted a maximum torque of 39.0kg-m at 3500 rpm.

It had Active Centre Differential (ACD) integrated with the Active Yaw Control (AYC). The result was better traction when accelerating out of corners and better steering response and grip. It came fitted with Recaro driver's bucket seat and a Momo race-styled steering wheel.
